Rates
Although our rates are quite
competitive in the VA industry, think of all the money you will save. As a sole
proprietor, you don't have to worry about paying us for our benefits, vacation days, sick days, health and dental insurance,
employment taxes, office supplies and equipment, or for our job training.
You only pay for the time we spend on your job, and the IPS's calculated time standard assures you that you are
receiving the most and the best for your money.
The regular rate for
SAVA services, billed on actual time, is $30.00 per hour. Services billed on actual
time include desktop publishing, bookkeeping, proofreading, and clerical and administrative services.
Some SAVA services are billed on PLUC standards. Production Level Unit Classification standards
are used to determine the degree of clarity and straightforwardness of source material. Class 1, the highest and best classification,
is given to source material that can be called "standard," meaning the Model Operator could produce this work under
standard conditions, in the standard amount of time. When Class 1 source material is provided for services, the rate is $30.00
per hour. Classes 2 through 5 rate the degree of deviation of source material from Class 1. The
more the deviation from the standard, the greater the hourly rate for the service. Services billed on PLUC standards
include word processing, enhanced word processing, database management, transcription, and résumés. Policies- New clients are required to sign a work agreement and make a deposit
before work will begin.
- Incidentals such as postage, shipping,
and printing are not included in our rates and will be charged separately as reimbursable expenses at their actual cost. Clients
may be asked to pay for large incidental charges directly.
- Work
is billed in one-minute increments. Each invoice will be rounded up to the nearest quarter hour.
- A $35.00 fee will be charged for all checks returned due to insufficient funds.
- Payments not received by the due date will result in a late fee of $10.00 or 10% (whichever
is greater) for each billing cycle.
- Rush projects will be considered
on a case-by-case basis and are subject to a 40% rush order fee.
- There
is a one-hour minimum for all services and projects.
- For small
projects, initial hours will be applied against a first-time deposit until it is expended.
- For large projects, a 50% deposit (based on the project estimate) may be required. After this,
clients will be billed on a weekly basis for each prior week's hours.
